365 Video Challenge // February Recap

Another month has gone by, which means another 29 seconds of my Project 365 are behind us (in case you missed it – check out January’s recap). February’s video gets a whole extra second, thanks to the leap year! I don’t know about you, but I was so excited about having an additional day in 2016 + I spent nearly the entirety of it at my computer working on a deadline. Whomp, whomp.

Thankfully, I was able to sneak away for an hour-long walk through my neighborhood (when I took my 1 second of video) to make the most of the unusually warm weather. I’m still working on getting into the habit of this daily video taking – especially on the days that I’m at my computer all day. It’s a reality of entrepreneurship that you spend a lot of time staring at a screen, but that doesn’t make for a very compelling video, does it? It’s been a fun task to try to see those routine days in a unique way, or encourage myself to take breaks from the computer – even if it’s just for a walk around the neighborhood. Good for my Project 365, likely good for my health as well. It’s a win-win!

Despite the inevitable computer-staring, February included lots of goodness:

Three weekends spent in the mountains, a trip to Louisville, Kentucky + Nashville, Tennessee, a Superbowl parade for the Broncos – plus hiking, bowling, neighborhood walks + coffee shops galore.

What are your highlights from the last month?
