I am probably overly excited to be bringing back one of my favorite series on the blog from a few years back, called AdventureWear. In my younger years, I collected stamps – I love the design, the culture + the history of them, not to mention the memories of snail mail from all parts of the globe. On my bookshelf, you’ll still find my stamp books, organized by continent + then by country.

If you’re anything like me, you have seasons where you’re staring at your closet in the morning wondering, what shall I put on today? So, I thought to myself, what better way to bring my travels into my everyday life than to gather style inspiration from my stamp collection? Thus, AdventureWear was born.

I thought I’d pick an Irish stamp in honor of St. Patrick’s Day + this is one of my favorites. Celtic patterns, a fun color scheme + just enough green. When I saw this dress in my closet, I knew it was the one that would bring the Ireland stamp to life. Aren’t the patterns perfect? We’ve had beautiful weather here in Colorado lately (although spring is usually the snowiest of seasons) so I jumped at the chance to throw on a spring dress + some warmer layers to enjoy the sunshine. I am 100% more likely to wear geometrics than florals, so maybe that’s another reason this particular stamp inspired me. Hooray for postage-inspired style success!

Where do you look for inspiration when you’re in a style rut?
